Residents at Bankhouse care home in Poulton-le-Fylde showed their support to the local library by attending its new Memory Café initiative.
Colleagues at Bankhouse accompanied Residents as they visited the Knott End library, which holds its new Memory Café on the first Wednesday of the month.
Everyone enjoyed the activities on offer, including playing musical instruments, arts and crafts and flying kites.
Residents were delighted to make new friends at the session, with Edmond saying: “It was nice to meet and talk to new people.” Fellow Resident Audrey added: “What a lovely afternoon, I can’t wait to come back!”
David Kershaw, Wellbeing Coordinator at Bankhouse, said: “Our residents love being out in the community having fun and meeting new people. We are all looking forward to coming back next month.”
