Oaklands Residents enjoy karaoke sessionResidents at HC-One’s Oaklands care home enjoyed their first attempt at karaoke recently.

Resident, Doreen, was the first to begin the session as she used the karaoke machine to sing a much loved song from the 1950s. Throughout the song, everyone cheered for Doreen as she was initially shy, but soon came out of her shell as she enjoyed herself.

It was smiles all around as everyone joined in with the karaoke, sang along themselves and danced to the music together.

Stephanie Massey, Home Manager, commented: “Residents have enjoyed using their singing voices today, our new karaoke machine is definitely very popular within the home.”
