Music was in the air at HC-One’s Wombwell Hall care home, as Residents and Colleagues welcomed a local choir into the home to perform for everyone.
Residents enjoyed listening to the all-male choir as they performed a variety of favourites, singing along to a few of their most loved songs, with some even getting up to dance together.
Musical instruments were used by both the choir and some Residents, which everyone remarked as being beautifully played. To end the afternoon nicely, everyone sat to enjoy afternoon tea and home made cakes together.
Fiona Smith, deputy home manager, commented: “The choir was beautiful. The music was so relaxing and it was wonderful to see how engaged the Residents were in each of their songs.”
