HC-One’s Wombwell Hall care home in Kent, celebrated National Banana Split day with their Residents who thoroughly enjoyed assembling their desserts and picking some toppings.
Colleagues took a trolley full of treats around each of the communities with the options of strawberry, chocolate or caramel sauces with whipped cream, ice cream and sprinkles to top their bananas.
Resident Valarie said, “Wow you are full of surprises and treats, I haven’t had banana split it years! What nice surprise.”
Susan and Steward (pictured) enjoyed tucking into their banana splits.
One of Wombwell’s Colleagues remarked, “We always love mixing up the food served here because then we can always accommodate for everyone and the National Banana Split day was a great excuse for sweet tooth. A simple banana split can really make someone’s day… and they looked delicious too!”
