Green fingered Walton-On-Thames care home Residents enjoy gardening funHC-One’s Adelaide House care home Residents have enjoyed an few weeks of gardening recently as they spent time embracing the lovely warm weather.

The Residents, John, Ronald and Marian, decided to initially take part in a gardening session, where they planted a variety of different seeds, with the hope of not checking what they were and to simply watch as they grew into a surprise.

They have used the home’s lovely conservatory to plant the seeds, keeping them there in the hope of the environment being the perfect heat and humidity to grow.

After spending a few weeks of watering them, the Residents have repotted the plants and placed them outside of the home as they continue to grow and climb into beautiful plants.

One Resident remarked: “It’s been great to come back each day and see the changes in the plants, I can’t believe how quickly they have grown.”
