Feathery friends join Residents at Holmfirth care homeResidents at White Rose House care home in Holmfirth, Huddersfield were delighted to welcome some new feathery friends to the home. 

Over the past month, White Rose House has been keeping an eye on a clutch of hen eggs in the home’s incubator, with many Residents eagerly waiting for the chicks’ arrival. 

After a three week wait, Residents were overjoyed to see the first sign of a chick cracking out of its shell, before a total of ten chicks made their appearance. 

Residents loved meeting their new feathered friends, as one Resident commented: “The chicks are so adorable, I can’t wait to see them grow!”
