Residents at HC-One’s The Elms care home were delighted as they, accompanied with Colleagues, visited their local bowling alley to enjoy a friendly game of bowling.
The competitive side of everyone came out as Residents and Colleagues versed against one another, sharing laughter and encouraging one another to win.
The Residents remarked at how the trip brought back many a fond memory of their childhoods, as everyone sat down to enjoy a spot of lunch after the game before returning home.
Everyone sat and chatted about the exciting day, long into the evening, as the home are now looking to plan the next bowling trip. Katie Coulson, home manager, commented: “It was lovely to see everyone laughing upon their return, I can’t wait to join them on the next visit.”
