It was all about the lucky number seven today at Haven care home in Peacehaven, East Sussex when Residents had a lovely movie afternoon organised by Vicky, part of the wellbeing team.
Residents debated over which film they should watch and the final decision made was to put on the classic ‘7 brides for 7 brothers’ and funnily enough, a total of 7 Residents took part in the activity; Brenda, Kath, John, Irene, Margaret, Joan and Sylvia.
Cake and hot drinks were provided as a refreshment during the movie and Residents commented that they had, “A simply lovely afternoon.” They enjoyed being together, singing the songs and watching old movies.
Vicky commented, “What a wonderful film to watch and everyone enjoyed it. We have a range of films here at Haven which always put everyone in good spirits!”
