Residents at HC-One’s Murrayfield House care home in Edinburgh welcomed some exotic creatures and creepy crawlies into the home when ZooLab visited on Wednesday 11th September.
Everyone gathered in the lounge to meet the weird and wonderful animals, which included a snake, gecko, scorpion, giant millipede, rats and giant snails. The ZooLab representative provided information about each creature, including facts about their behaviour, diet and natural habitat.
Residents enjoyed learning more about the animals and having the chance to hold the different species. One Resident commented: “It was great to see a collection of more unusual animals, I hope ZooLab will return with more soon.”
