Wigston care home Colleague braves the shave for charityTracy Murray, a member of the team at HC One’s Cedar Court, is braving the shave to raise money for cancer charity.

Tracy, who is a member of the housekeeping team at the Wigston care home, very sadly lost her father to cancer earlier this year.

Tracy volunteered to complete the ‘Brave the Shave’ campaign in honour of her father whom sadly passed away at Cedar Court earlier this year.

Tracy is attempting to raise as much money as possible for this charity, and she stated she just wants to give back to all the professionals whom cared for her father.

Tracy said” I want to honour my father and this is the only way I feel I can do this, please help me raise money for an amazing charity whom support we cannot repay.”

The home manager commented “We want to support Tracy to do this for her dad. It has been an emotional journey, and I am so proud of her and her father would be extremely proud of her too.”

So far Tracy has raised a fantastic £1,700, any donation made to her page would be greatly appreciated and going to a fantastic cause, simply visit https://bravetheshave.macmillan.org.uk/shavers/tracy-murray to donate.
