HC-One’s Snapethorpe Hall care home, in Lupset, Wakefield recently celebrated the appointment of its new Home Manager, Julia Davison, with an afternoon tea party attended by friends, family, members of the local community and The Mayor of Wakefield, Councillor Charlie Keith.
Having started her career as a Care Assistant aged sixteen, Julia is a dedicated healthcare professional with a wealth of knowledge and experience in providing care and support for older people.
Residents and the team wanted to give Julia a warm welcome with a Meet the Manager event, visitors and The Mayor of Wakefield joined the celebrations which included live entertainment followed by a homemade afternoon tea.
One Resident commented: “It was so lovely to meet the Mayor and have a delicious afternoon tea as a community.”
Julia Davison, Home Manager at Snapethorpe Hall said: “It was wonderful to have the opportunity to meet everyone and hear their thoughts and ideas for our home.
“I would also like to thank The Mayor of Wakefield for attending our event.”
