Celebrations were had at HC-One’s Highclere care home as Residents and Colleagues enjoyed commemorating the 75th anniversary of VE day.
The sun shone for all as Residents enjoyed time in the garden, embracing the wonderful weather and dancing away to their favourite old time hits.
Residents enjoyed sharing memories they had of the day 75 years ago, as they spoke of their own experiences of the war time. Later, everyone indulged in a delicious cake alongside a warm beverage.
One Resident remarked: “It’s been such a lovely day today, it’s been fabulous to have a dance outside in the sunshine.”
