Tropical garden party at Manchester care home goes down a treatResidents enjoyed their very own tropical garden party at HC One’s Averill House care home today.

With the sun shining down, and the garden all decorated and ready, there was no more of a perfect day for a get together at the Manchester care home than today.

Residents have been working hard prior to the party for the ongoing garden project at the home, and it was finally all ready for the grand opening – and what better way to open it than to have a party?

Colleagues decorated the garden with Hawaiian flower garlands, bunting and even had a mobile tiki bar too, perfect for the tropical theme.

Residents got to enjoy their very own mocktail creations, from blue lagoons to woo woos and pink fizz bangers.

There was music playing out across the garden where a mini disco was held, it wouldn’t be complete without playing the PiƱa colada song or agadoo!

The Residents had a wonderful day at their garden party, it made all of their hard work and efforts over the past few weeks’ worth it.

One Resident, Vera Smith, commented “it’s been amazing, such a good day!”
