Residents at HC-One’s The Red House care home were delighted to welcome new friends in the form of three new baby rabbits.
The three rabbits, Del Boy, Rodney and Trigger, were kindly donated by a generous Relative, much to the Residents’ joy, as they spent the day cuddling and holding each of the rabbits.
The rabbits were named by the Residents, after a much loved television programme, and are brought in daily for the Residents to play with, hold and stroke. It has proven to be a wonderful form of pet therapy as everyone thoroughly enjoys being around the furry animals.
Keith Ware, Home Manager, commented: “The Residents are so pleased to have these three rabbits in their lives, they are such sweet and gentle animals, and they have settled in fantastically.”
