Tetbury care home Residents enjoy creative weekResidents at HC One’s Ilsom House care home enjoyed creating their very own lanterns and keyrings this week.

The Residents at the Tetbury home enjoyed an active week, starting off with making lanterns.

The shapes for the lanterns had already been cut out by Colleagues, then Residents used these and added different coloured tissue paper. The paper was added to create a unique pattern that could be seen from the outside of the lantern.

Once Residents had finished, their creations were hung up in the windows so that when the sun shone through it highlighted the beautiful colours.
Later in the week, the Residents then made keyrings. They used an assortment of items ranging from small flowers and hearts to decorate these.

Residents also used coloured pens of their choice to add patterns to the keyrings which they all thoroughly enjoyed.

It was lovely to see Residents coming up with different ideas for their creations, and feeling very happy with the finished products too.
