Tea dance is a hit at Greenock care homeResidents at Merino Court care home in Greenock were delighted to take part in a local tea dance at Glasgow Town Hall. 

With nearly 200 people from the local community attending the tea dance, Residents were excited to mingle with like-minded people as they sang, danced and clapped along to a set of classic hits played by the DJ. 

Guests enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea, consisting of a selection of tasty sandwiches and scrumptious cakes. 

The visit went down a hit with Residents, as Meg commented: “It was a lovely spread. The people are all very sociable. We had a great afternoon.” 

Heather Campbell-Hanratty, Home Manager at Merino Court, said: “The tea dance was a great success as it provides Residents with the opportunity to maintain links with the local community.”
