Stanley care home Residents and staff thankful for community supportResidents and staff at HC-One’s Stoneleigh care home in Stanley have took a look back at all the support they have received from their community during the coronavirus pandemic.

Stoneleigh care home have been overwhelmed by the kindness of the local community, businesses and Relatives in the local community in Stanley, during the lockdown.

Residents and staff have received free pizzas, muffins, headbands all from small local businesses as well as biscuits and sweets from Relatives so staff can enjoy them on their break. The gifts and ‘thankyous’ that the home have received just keep coming and help massively with morale within the home.

Stoneleigh Home Manager Amanda Cooper said: “It's absolutely fabulous to be shown all this support.”

The home is decorated throughout with cards and paintings of rainbow art that has been donated by school pupils, local children and even ones painted by staff themselves.
