Residents and Colleagues at HC One’s Stamford Court care home celebrated the 75th anniversary of VE Day today.
The Stalybridge home decided to host their very own BBQ in the garden to celebrate the special occasion. There was music playing with war time songs playing out across the home.
The home was unable to do what was planned, however still managed to mark the day even whilst in lockdown.
The weather was lovely, with the sun shining out as the Residents shared stories from what happened 75 years ago.
One of the Residents commented “It was a wonderful day, thank-you.”
