Residents at HC-One’s The Orchards care home have enjoyed an afternoon of reminiscence as they sat to discuss the holidays enjoyed in the past.
A Colleague at the home kindly brought in some photographs of a holiday to Australia, which Residents enjoyed looking through, with some even talking of their own holidays spent in the country.
Residents then enjoyed getting creative as they made their own takes on aboriginal art by tracing their hands and adding coloured dots and designs to the creations.
Anita Irvine, home manager, commented: “The Residents have enjoyed spending time reminiscing in the sunshine together. It’s been lovely to hear their holiday stories.”
