Residents take a walk on the wild side at Arnold care homeBeeches care home in Arnold, Nottingham was delighted to welcome Zoolab to the home as Residents enjoyed an afternoon of animal therapy. 

The representative from the animal experiences company brought with them a scorpion, tarantula, giant millipede, giant cockroach and a snake for Residents to meet.

Many Residents bravely plucked up the courage to stroke and even hold the animals, while others asked took the opportunity to find out more information about each species’ diet, habitat and lifespan. 

Rene said: “The tarantula was my favourite”, while fellow Resident Joyce added: “All of these animals are so fascinating.”
