Residents enjoy pamper session at Rotherham care homeResidents at Silverwood care home in Rotherham enjoyed a relaxing pamper session as they received a beautiful manicure.

Silverwood showed its support to the local community by inviting students from the Local Life Skills initiative to the home to meet the Residents.

While they were there, beauty students and nail technicians pampered the Residents by painting their nails. Residents chose their favourite colours from the nail varnishes, including blue, red, purple and some sparkly shades.

Residents thoroughly enjoyed the pamper session, with many commenting on how they used to enjoy painting their nails when they were younger.

Carrie Ann Davies, Home Manager at Silverwood, said: “At HC-One we are committed to developing new relationships with our local community. It was lovely to see that friendships have blossomed between Residents and the beauty students.”
