A Resident at HC One’s Amber Lodge enjoyed a day of pampering with a brand new hairdo.
Siobhan, who moved into the Leeds care home at the start of lockdown, previously dyed her hair before coming into the home.
Siobhan used to have her hair done regularly, but since lockdown it has been difficult with not being able to go to a hairdressers.
Sophie, a senior care at the home, decided to treat Siobhan to a makeover and dye her hair for her.
Sophie bought a hair dye with the colour Siobhan wanted and spent some one on one time chatting to her and colouring her hair in the homes salon, for a fresh new look.
Siobhan couldn’t stop smiling whilst having her hair done, and she was over the moon with how it turned out. Others had also commented on how nice Siobhan looked with her new hair.
Sophie commented “It’s been great spending one on one time with Siobhan whilst doing something she’s so grateful for.”
