Trudi Smith, Wellbeing Coordinator at the Cheshire based care home, organised for the ice-cream van to visit everyone at Daneside Mews.
The Residents took their time and chose from a variety of different ice-creams and had a wonderful afternoon reminiscing about the old days when the kids would queue up around the block and listen for the iconic music of the ice cream van.
Nicola Vernon, Home Manager, commented, “The ice-creams went down a treat. I love to see the Residents chatting about their younger days, I could sit and listen to them for hours”
