Peterlee care home Residents take part in community garden projectFive Residents from HC-One’s Grampian Court care home in Peterlee have been busy taking part in a project with local community garden, Woodhouse Park.

On Thursday 10th October, Residents were joined by Maggie and Jaynie, who visited to help Residents transform the plastic bottles they have saved up into a beautiful flower display using a heat machine to melt the plastic into petals and flower stems.

The flowers will be displayed in Woodhouse Park during November, Residents are already looking forward to attending the opening event.

Kay Rudd, Home Manager at Grampian Court said: “What a wonderful project for our Residents to be involved in, we are all looking forward to seeing the beautiful display in November.”
