Perth care home Resident helps paint new summer houseA Resident at HC-One’s Catmoor House care home in Perth has picked up a paintbrush and gone to work on painting the homes brand new summer house.

Kenneth Norton, a Resident at Catmoor House has always had an interest in painting, so when the opportunity came up to help out with sprucing up the new summer house, he couldn’t miss it. Kenneth spent some time out in the beautiful garden at Catmoor House whilst it was sunny and got to work.

As well as painting, Kenneth loves to help out around the home with D.I.Y work and often joins in with the maintenance officers at the home to assist them on their projects.

Kenneth Norton said: “I’ve always been interested in painting, I’ve had a lovely day.”

Keeping Residents engaged in meaningful activity is a great way to keep their brain stimulated and something like painting can really give Residents peace of mind, which is much needed during these tough times.
