Residents at HC-One’s Daneside Court care home were delighted to welcome children from the local primary school as they came to celebrate National Story Telling Week together.
The home focused on Spring poems with both children and Residents fully engaging with the theme, as everyone acted out the reading, sharing laughs along the way.
Colleagues read poems to the children also, offering treats to everyone as a thank you for visiting the home.
Samantha Farahat, home manager, commented: “The afternoon has gone wonderfully, we have loved welcoming the children to the home and the Residents have thoroughly enjoyed themselves.”
