Residents at HC-One’s The Elms care home enjoyed some fun in the sunsgine as they spent the afternoon in the garden listening to performer, Patrick Sawyer.
Some Residents from local HC-One home, The Gables, also joined in the excitement as they listened to Patrick sing their favourite songs from the 1960s. Everyone danced on the grass together as they sang along to the music.
After everyone had finished dancing, they took a well-deserved break in the lounge as they enjoyed tea and biscuits together and chatted amongst one another. Some Residents even sang more songs in the lounge as the performance had inspired them to do so.
Katie Coulson, Home Manager, commented: “The Residents have enjoyed this afternoon, it was lovely for The Gables to join us and have the Residents interacting with one another from each home, and we hope to do it again soon.”
