Residents at HC-One’s Highclere care home were delighted to still enjoy their Mothers Day celebrations together in spite of current restrictions on visitors.
The home hosted a delightful tea party alongside a sing-along complete with many a favourite tune, whilst some loved ones came to the windows of the home at various points throughout the day to see the Residents through the windows and send their best wishes.
Time was spent in the afternoon for Residents to open their cards and gifts which had been delivered to the home, with some Residents even shedding a tear.
Farai Maringa, home manager, commented: “We have thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea party today. The catering team prepared a delightful selection of treats for us all and a great day was had.”
