A Resident at HC-One’s Sandon House care home in Mossley, Greater Manchester celebrated her 90th birthday at the home with her family who could talk to her through a window.
Dorothy Sykes, 90, celebrated her 90th birthday on 14th July with cards, gifts, balloons, cake & chocolates. The lounge was decorated with bunting, balloons & banners, even her walking frame was decorated.
Dorothy was also visited by her family who were able to visit and chat to her through a window. They all sent Dorothy their best wishes and passed some lovely cards and presents through the window.
A party was thrown in the afternoon, where there was karaoke and dancing to rock and roll music. Everyone sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to Dorothy as she blew out her candles.
