Residents at HC-One’s Highclere care home enjoyed embracing the sunshine as they began planting seeds in the garden together.
Each Resident chose their own individual flower or vegetable seeds to plant, then scattered them into the garden planters, watered them and enjoyed the fresh air of the garden as they admired the surrounding nature.
One Resident in particular, Alan, enjoyed being able to plant some of his favourite vegetables as he has always been a keen gardener.
Home Manager, Farai Maringa, commented: “It’s lovely for the Residents to be able to get involved with gardening, it means so much to them.”
