Due to the current national restrictions in place, Colleagues at care homes across the UK have been very creative in their approaches for entertainment for the Residents, and this was no exception for Ridgeway Lodge care home in Dunstable, Bedfordshire.
Derrick Tompkins is a Ridgeway Colleague working within the maintenance team at the home. Recently he has courageously picked up the microphone and put on a fantastic singing show for Residents; what a fantastic voice!
Derrick has been organising fortnightly singalongs to music with the Residents and it has gone down a huge hit with Residents. One commented, “The very best of vocal activity!”
Home Manager, Sahr Moseray, said he was so pleased and impressed that he has such a multitude of talented Colleagues.
