Lord Provost of Glasgow delivers pamper packs to Nitshill Road care homeColleagues at HC-One’s Darnley Court care home in Glasgow recently welcomed The Lord Provost of Glasgow, to receive some kind donations from the local hospital.

Philip Braat, Lord Provost of Glasgow, visited the home on 8th July on behalf of The Glasgow Royal Infirmary after they arranged for ‘Rainbow Pamper Packs’ to be delivered to the care staff.

Philip Braat expressed how grateful he was to Colleagues at Darnley Court saying, “Thank you and your staff for all the hard work and commitment shown through-out the COVID pandemic.”

The pamper packs were most welcome and the staff were extremely grateful for the kind donation. The past few months have been really demanding and exhausting for everyone in the social care industry and to know that they are being thought of by their local community was a massive morale booster for them.

Darnley Court Home Manager Louise Fulton said: “What a surprise and very kind gesture from Glasgow Royal Infirmary – and to have it delivered by the Lord Provost himself! Thank you once again from all the staff and residents at Darnley Court.”
