Colleagues at HC One’s Colton Lodges care home are proud to open up their visitor pod for the first time today.
Residents at the Leeds home haven’t been able to see their loved ones in person since the start of lockdown in March and today was finally the day that this could change.
One Resident, Betty, was having her birthday today and was so pleased to be able to see her daughter again. Janet was so grateful that she could come and visit her Mum on her birthday.
Janet lives in Cumbria too so doesn’t get to visit often, making today even more precious to spend these moments together.
Janet commented “this is an amazing thing to be able to come and visit my Mum like this.”
The staff at the home said “it’s so heart-warming to see the Resident getting to see their family members again.”
