Knit and natter takes an autumnal twist at Shelton Lock care homeShelton Lock care home’s popular knit and natter group took an autumnal twist as Residents prepared for Harvest Festival 2019.

The group was keen to showcase their artistic talent by adding to the home’s Harvest Festival display, so they set to work knitting wool pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and colours.

While skilled knitters got to work on knitting the patterns, those who could not knit helped to stuff the pumpkins before they were sewn up.

One Resident commented: “I really enjoyed that, the pumpkins look lovely and are such a great addition to our display.”
