HC-One’s Gittisham Hill House Residents have been keeping very busy this week baking delicious treats for everyone to enjoy and playing some rather competitive games of bingo.
Wellbeing specialists Jill Watts and Marie Bourne organised for this week to commence with Residents baking cakes and pastries for everyone to taste. Residents Barbara and Susan did an excellent job with their concoctions and many commented that the baking was simply splendid!
Staff at the home were heard commenting, “Save me one of those cakes, they look yummy.”
Also this week the Residents took part in a game of bingo and enjoyed the divine cakes while doing so.
The competition was fierce and in the end it was Resident Joan who won the full house and her prize was chocolate. Joan kindly shared her priza around with a number of other fellow chocaholic Residents.
When passing, Senior HC-One Admin Emma Edwards commented on the healthy atmosphere, "It sounds like you are all having fun in here!"
Resident Julie remarked, “I really enjoyed the bingo, can we play again next week?”
