Intergenerational afternoon tea party at Glenrothes care homeHC-One’s Woodside Court in Glenrothes hosted an intergenerational afternoon tea party for Residents and local children on Wednesday 12th February.

Young family members of Residents at Woodside Court were invited to spend the afternoon enjoying games and afternoon tea in the home, Residents enjoyed getting dressed up for the occasion, with the ladies choosing their favourite hat to wear.

Both young and old came together for the afternoon, sharing stories over a delicious selection of sandwiches, cakes and drinks. A games room was set up for the children and everyone took part in the hokey kokey before it was time for the children to go home.

Woodside Court Home Manager, Nicola Procter said: “It’s lovely to see two generations coming together, creating happy memories and sharing stories. We hope that we can arrange more fun activities like this for our Residents and the wonderful children who visited us today.”
