Honiton care home Residents enjoy spot of gardeningResidents at HC-One’s Gittisham Hill House care home were delighted to embrace the sunshine as they enjoyed a spot of gardening together.

Everyone took part as they took on various roles – some chose to begin weeding plants, whilst others helped to tidy the flower beds and create some colourful hanging baskets.

Residents chose the flowers they wanted to plant and arranged them nicely in the planters.

After everyone’s hard work, they sat to enjoy some delicious cakes and refreshments in the shade, remarking at how happy they were with the effort they made.

Marita Westaway, home manager, remarked: “We’re so pleased with the garden, everyone has worked so hard to plant some lovely flowers and help the garden to look colourful.”
