Residents at HC-One’s Hinckley Park care home in Hinckley drank ‘Bad Tie’ beers for this year’s Father’s Day celebrations, which were filled with love and jokes.
Father’s Day; a time to tell your Dad how you feel about him, normally with a "humorous" card. It's no different at Hinckley Park and, instead of cards, they had ‘Bad Tie’ beers.
Residents enjoyed choosing some brightly patterned fabric, and cutting them out into the shape of ties which they then fastened around the neck of their very own bottle of beer. "Thank you! I'll enjoy that cold beer,” jokes Hinckley Park Resident Colin.
All of Hinckley Parks gentlemen Residents then enjoyed a lovely cold beer together as they reminisced about past Father’s Day celebrations that they celebrated with their families.
As well as this, there were lots of visits over the Father's Day weekend with lots of cards and gifts exchanged, “It's always a joy to see how loved and adored everyone is,” said Hinckley Park Home Manager, Karen Holmes.
