Colleagues at HC-One’s Himley Mill care home enjoyed raising funds for the home’s Resident fund as they took part in a car wash outside of the home.
Cars arrived outside the home to be washed and Colleagues, maintaining a distance, took turns to wash the cars, ensuring they left clean with the drivers pleased.
Everyone was surprised with the amount raised and remarked how grateful they were to have received these visits even during some poor weather.
Kelly Smith, Home Manager, commented: “We are so grateful for all that we have raised today, we are looking forward to doing another car wash in the summer time.”
