HC-One’s Thamesfield care home have enjoyed taking part in the national ‘clap for keyworkers’ initiative, with the 28th May being no different, apart from it being the last one.
As tonight was due to be the last clap, Residents decided to make it extra special for Colleagues at the home due to all of their hard work, and so wrote a variety of personal messages into a lovely card and painted some beautiful watercolour paintings.
A delicious cake was also provided for all to enjoy and a great celebration was enjoyed in the home.
Lina Nela, home manager, remarked: “It was so heartwarming to see how much we are appreciated, it was wonderful of the Residents to do this.”
