Hedgehog Rescue volunteers visit Tetbury care homeResidents at Ilsom House care home in Tetbury were delighted to take part in an educational afternoon from volunteers at the local Hedgehog Rescue centre.

After volunteers delivered an interesting presentation about the rescue centre’s work, Residents took the opportunity to ask questions about the duties involved to keep the adorable, prickly creatures safe.

Everyone admired the photos of the rescued hedgehogs and were keen to find out what they could do to help, including tidying outdoor areas of litter and plastics.

One Resident said: “We often see hedgehogs wondering around the garden here, so it was fascinating to learn more about how they are rescued and how they get back on the road to recovery.”
