Hawaiian BBQ fun at Goole care homeResidents and Colleagues at HC One’s Windsor Court say ‘aloha’ from their lovely Hawaiian BBQ get together.

Tired of lockdown stagnation, the Goole home staff decided to add some optimism and positive craziness for the day with a fun themed BBQ.

For some time, the home has been celebrating Wacky Wednesdays, which were received with great enthusiasm and appreciation. Every Wednesday brings a different theme, where most of the staff come up with fantastic costumes that brings great joy among Residents and Colleagues.

The most delicious fun (literally), took place on Hawaiian BBQ day. The entire staff jumped into grass skirts and flower garlands, with Hawaiian melodies flowing from the speakers. Mark the chef and his sous chef Peter, both prepared delicious burgers and hotdogs for everyone.

The weather has not been too kind lately, however that didn’t stop the celebrations or spoil the fun and happy atmosphere.

Resident Peter said “I liked that very much. I wear my Hawaiian shirt too. The food was delicious”.
