Residents at HC-One’s Sheraton Court care home in Hartlepool had a visit from a local Abba tribute, who sang Abba classics from the homes garden, to Relatives through the window.
On Thursday 2nd July, Sheraton Court were visited by a singer, who specialised in Abba tribute songs, who they watched from the window as the singer could not enter the home.
Residents and staff danced to classics such as ‘Dancing Queen’, ‘The Winner Takes It All’ and “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!” as they enjoyed a tea and coffee along with some cakes, biscuits, cheese and crackers.
It has been important for Residents to experience some entertainment after being locked down for so long, so it was great to get them up and dancing to some Abba classics from the safety of our home.
“It’s been lovely to see all the smiling faces,” said Sheraton Court Home Manager, Carol Thompson.
