Hambleton Care Home Enjoys Success in CQC ReportHC-One’s Bankhouse Home in Hambleton, Lancashire is celebrating having received a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). 

The team at Bankhouse were delighted to have received an impressive CQC report that rated the home as ‘Good’ in all areas, demonstrating that the home is providing high standards of care for Residents, demonstrating that the home is Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsible, and Well-Led.

The inspectors were full of praise for Colleagues at Bankhouse, highlighting the kind ways in which they provide care for Residents at the home. 

Inspectors commented on the programme of activities held in the home, used to enhance the wellbeing of Residents, as well as the reminiscence room that had been added into the home which consists of a variety of objects in an atmosphere which may stimulate Residents living with dementia.

Relatives made comments about how staff had a ‘warm, caring and kind attitude’ with a greeting card from a Relative also thanking the home for ‘all the love, care and compassion’ they had given the Resident who lived in the home.
