Grimsby care home celebrate VE DayHC One’s Clarendon Hall care home held their very own celebrations for VE Day today.

With the country on lockdown, the Grimsby care homes plans for VE Day celebrations had to be changed slightly, but were still able to go ahead and mark the day in their own way.

Residents donned party hats and waved their flags whilst singing ‘we’ll meet again’. Everyone raised their glasses to toast fallen heroes.

The afternoon was a huge success and despite the restrictions everybody was still able to have a lovely day, made even better by the sunshine.

One of the Residents, Barbara, commented “I’ve not had such fun in a long time!”
