Grimsby care home Residents paint t-shirts for pride monthResidents at HC-One’s Clarendon Hall care home in Grimsby have been getting in to the spirit of pride month by painting some plain t-shirts in all types of wonderful colours.

As Pride Month ends, Hayley, Clarendon Halls wellbeing coordinator, decided to gather Residents to explain to them the importance of inclusion. Many pride events are held during this month to recognize the impact LGBT people have had in the world.

Hayley then began to ask Resident for ways in which they can celebrate and they decided on creating some lovely colourful shirts, adding words and phrases to accompany the colours.

"What a lovely idea, can we wear them later?" joked Ann, a Clarendon Hall Resident.

The fabric paint was mixed carefully and the painting began with laughter and chatter all round, their slogans read "Be a prince or princess", "Be yourself", "we all grow together" amongst a few others.

Clarendon Hall Residents and staff enjoyed posing in the t-shirts to model them and said they felt really proud to have supported such a worthwhile event.
