Residents at HC-One’s Roxburgh House care home enjoyed an afternoon of gardening together outside in the sunshine.
The group of Residents each took part in the activity, with some opting to tidy the garden, others planted seeds and some arranged flowers, in the hope of decorating the garden in preparation for summer.
Everyone spoke of how much they enjoy gardening, discussing their favourite flowers and the memories they have of the summers they spent growing up.
Linda Wilkes, home manager, commented: “We have all enjoyed being in the fresh air today, the sunshine has been wonderful for everyone to enjoy gardening.”
