Green-fingered Arbroath care home Residents plant donated flowersResidents at HC-One’s Cairnie Lodge care home finally got around to getting out into the garden to plant some lovely flowers that had been donated by a local supermarket.

Morrisons donated various bright and beautiful flowers to Cairnie Lodge through their Community Champions campaign. Now that summer is here and the sun is now starting to shine, Residents and Colleagues have taken this opportunity to go outside into the garden and plant their donated flowers.

John Crowford, a Resident at Cairnie Lodge decided to plant some Livingstone Daisies in a bright blue pot and kept them inside.

“I chose these because the daisies are nice and colourful,” said Cairnie Lodge Resident, John Crowford.

All of the Residents at Cairnie Lodge had a variety of coloured pots and flowers to choose from when it came to planting in the garden and they all look absolutely amazing.

Kim Barton, Cairnie Lodge wellbeing coordinator said: “What a great job everyone has done, their pots are so lovely and colourful.”
