Great Easton care home Resident expresses artistic passionRita, a Resident at HC-One’s The Moat House care home, was delighted to find that an art area had been created in the home, encouraging her to express her passion for painting.

Colleagues asked if Rita would like to paint a Church window in the form of stained glass window style picture, which would be used for the monthly Church service, to which she was extremely pleased to do.

Rita decided to design her piece of art by incorporating as many different types of crosses, so after completing research on the internet, she was happy with her design idea and began to paint.

After a few weeks of painting in her spare time, Rita announced she had finished her masterpiece and was delighted with the finished product, as was everyone else in the home.

Noreen Adkin, home manager, commented: “This has been wonderful to see. Rita has really enjoyed painting over the weeks and hopefully she continues to express her passion – we can’t wait to see more of her artwork."
