Residents at HC-One’s Woodside Court care home in Glenrothes have enjoyed some lovely ice cream treats from Woodies Ice Cream Parlour.
Staff from Woodside Court care home got together and create Woodies Ice Cream Parlour so they could offer Residents a choice of ice cream treats.
Residents could choose between different cones and wafers as well as what flavour they wanted. There was also a variety of sprinkles and dressing the Residents could choose from to finish off their creation.
One Woodside Court Resident said: “This is lovely, it reminded me of my family’s holidays at the seaside, I’ve loved reminiscing about them times.”
Staff even had the music of an ice cream van playing to authenticate the activity and then played music for the Residents to listen to as they reminisced about their happy memories at the seaside.
Woodside Court Home Manager Beba Graham said: “It's nice to bring a bit of joy to everyone, lots of happy memories shared between the Residents and staff.”
